Volunteers needed!

Do you have an hour or two free in the afternoons?

Are there any parents or grandparents who can come in to school to play card games and board games with the children at the Upper School?  A couple of hours once a week would be great but any time you can spare in the afternoons would be very helpful. If you think you may be able to help, please speak with a member of staff at the Upper School office.

Absence messages

If your child is unwell and will not be attending school, please ensure you report your child's absence as early as possible. This can be done by telephoning us on 01883 622 000 and leaving an absence message (choose option 1), emailing us at absence@hamsey.surrey.sch.uk or by speaking directly to a member of the office staff.

Parent Consultation Evening – Year 6 only

A letter regarding the parent consultation evenings on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st January including instructions on how to book, was emailed out to parents today.

Please be advised that Year 6 children are encouraged to attend the meeting along with their parent.

Stranger Danger

This week, pupils have been reminded about Stranger Danger in an Assembly.  We have reminded the children that they should be near their adults both before and after school and that only children in Year 5 and 6, who have a competed permission form, are able to walk to the gate.

Polite Reminder

Please may we remind parents/carers that dogs should not be brought onto school grounds.  For those parents/carers of year 5 & 6 children, if you have arranged to meet your child at the school gate at the end of the day and you have brought your dog with you, please ensure that you do not stand directly at the end of the pathway as this can become heavily congested.
