KS2 Times Table Maths Bee

Congratulations to all those who took part in this week’s Maths Bee.

Parking

We have had several complaints from parents, residents and members of the public of dangerous and inconsiderate parking by our parents bringing children to the Upper School.  A reminder to ALL of our parents and carers, please do not park on the zig zag markings for the school.  The reason for these markings is to allow emergency service vehicles to have accessibility.  Failure to do so can result in a Penalty Charge Notice and we will be asking the local parking enforcement team to enforce this should we continue to receive complaints.

Due consideration for children walking to school should be foremost, so please do NOT pull up on the pavement to stop your vehicle.  With nicer weather approaching, it might be a good opportunity to encourage walking to school.  It is a great opportunity to find out about what your children will be doing during the day.

School Uniform ordering

All school uniform items can now be ordered and paid through School Money (where lunches are ordered) and can no longer through Tucasi.  You can also still order and pay through completing an order form, which can be found here; copies of the form are also available at both the Lower and Upper Schools.

Congratulations!

to Hamsey Green Dancekids who performed amazingly at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill on Tuesday evening.  Not only did the children from Year 2 upwards dance beautifully, their fantastic behaviour and politeness was commented upon by other schools and theatre staff.  Well done!

World Book Day – Thursday 7th March

Wow!  A fantastic effort by everyone, from Little Miss Splendid to Mary Poppins, a great turnout of costumes today.  Even our School Elf joined in the fun!  Well done Hamsey Green for celebrating World Book Day in style!

Head lice

We have heard that there may be some cases of head lice in the school, please can you check your child’s head/hair.  Chemists are able to advise accordingly.
