Hamseys’s Got Talent – The results!
The Hamsey's Got Talent Final was held on Friday 29th June. The children and staff thoroughly enjoyed watching all of our very talented performers!
We are delighted to share with you that our winner was Freya in Penguin class who wowed the audience with her impressive gymnastics display! Second place was awarded to Bea in Shark class who impressed the audience with her wonderful singing voice! Huge congratulations to both Freya & Bea and to all of the children who took part in Hamsey’s Got Talent!
As previously advertised, Friday 13th July will be a mufti day. The children are invited to come to school wearing their own clothes (no football kits please) in exchange for a £1 donation for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Football in the Playground – Upper School
Please can we remind parents that for the safety of other parents and children, the children should not be playing football in the upper school playground before school.
From September 2018 the cost of a school meal is increasing in price to £2.30 per day. Parents of Year two children who currently have a school meal are reminded that if they would like their child to continue to receive a school meal, they will need to make payment for this from September. This should be done using the online payments system via our school website.
Please refer to our website for more information on weekly and termly costs for school meals.
Treasurer required for PTA
From September 2018, there will be a vacancy for the position of Treasurer within the PTA. The Treasurer is responsible for managing and reconciling the finances, reporting the financial position back to the PTA and organising the floats and takings before and after events. If you feel that you could fill this position or would like any further details, please contact the friends by emailing email@example.com
Year 6 Parents
Please be reminded that payment for the year 6 leavers party is due by Friday 13th July.
