Lower School: Starfish/Seals 96.1%
Upper School: Lobsters 96.6%
Well done to both of these classes who had the best overall attendance for this school year!
Summer Sounds Festival
A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported our Summer Sounds Festival, we hope you all had a wonderful time! The sun was shining, the stalls were very inviting and the performers excelled themselves! Although the final figure is yet to be calculated, we anticipate that we have raised a considerable amount of money for our school. Once we have the final figure we look forward to sharing this with you, along with our plans on how it will be spent! This event would not have been the success it was without all of the help and support given from our teachers, PTA members and parent volunteers, so a huge THANK YOU to you all!
Team Point Winners!
The winning team with the most team points for the Summer term is Emerald! And the winning team with the most team points overall for this year is Ruby!
Goodbye & Good Luck!
We would like to say goodbye and good luck to our wonderful Year 6 children, who leave us today! We wish them all the best for their futures and are so proud of how they have matured, progressed and developed. They did a fantastic production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and their Leaver’s Assembly was compelling. We hope that they stay in touch and let us know how they are getting on at Secondary School and beyond! We hope that they continue to aim high, collaborate, show optimism in the face of difficult times, are resilient to set backs and continue to keep nurture at the forefront of their minds.
We will miss them all, dearly!
Mrs Tuthill, who has been with us at Hamsey Green since 1985, is leaving us to embark on her well earned retirement! We are very grateful to Mrs Tuthill for all of her hard work, dedication and commitment to helping pupils to grow and to learn and we wish her a very happy retirement!
Miss Grinter, Mrs Swartz & Mrs Palmer are also leaving us at the end of this academic year. We thank them all for their contributions at Hamsey Green and wish them all the very best!
WWF Mufti Day
Thank you to everyone who contributed at last week’s mufti day, as a school we raised £269 for the World Wildlife Fund!
