Parent Information Evening
The parent information evening which had been planned for Thursday 27th September has been cancelled. This event will be re-scheduled and once a new date has been confirmed it will be published in the school calendar on our website. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Data Collection Sheets
Thank you to those parents who have already returned their child’s Data Collection Sheet. If you have not already done so please ensure you return these to the school office as soon as possible as this allows us to ensure we hold the most up to date contact details for your child in school.
Teacher Run Clubs
Letters have gone home with all children in years 1 to 6 regarding the Teacher run clubs available for the Autumn term. Please ensure all replies are returned to the school offices by no later than Thursday 27th September.
Nut Allergies
As we have a number of pupils in school with nut allergies please take care not to pack nut products into your child's lunchbox. The school greatly appreciates your help in enabling it to do everything it can to keep our children safe.
Dancekids
There are still spaces available in the externally run Dancekids club at both the Upper and Lower sites. The club running at the lower school will also be available to Reception children this year. Please click here for more information for the upper school club, and click here for more information on the lower school club.
Penalty Notice Information for Parents
Parents/Carers are duly reminded that if they take their child out of school without the school’s permission for 5 or more days, they will be liable to receive a penalty notice. Currently the amount payable under a penalty notice is £60.00 if paid within 21 days, rising to £120.00 if paid between 21 and 28 days. If the penalty notice remains unpaid after 28 days the Local Authority will consider a prosecution in the Magistrates Court. Please note that penalty notices are issued per parent/carer per child, so if there are 2 parents and 2 children they will receive 4 penalty notices. Further details are available in our attendance policy.
Head Lice
This is a recurring problem among school children. Please continue to check your child’s hair weekly for lice or nits and treat appropriately.
