BIG Writing Workshop

Parents of children in Years 1 to 6 are invited to attend the BIG Writing Workshop being held in the Upper School Hall on Monday 4th February between 9.00am and 10.30am. If you would like to attend this session, please inform the school office.

Year 6 Parents

Please note that the Parent Consultation evenings happening on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st January will be taking place in the Upper School Hall. Please enter the school through the doors at the back of the hall via the playground for your appointment. If you have not already done so, please login to the School Money system to book your appointment. Bookings can be made up until midnight the night before.

School Dinners

If you would like your child to have a school dinner please be reminded that these must be booked in advance using the online School Money system. The school kitchen cooks the exact number of meals required for each day and is often unable to accommodate last minute requests. If you are having difficulty using the system or if you realise on a particular day that you have not booked a meal for your child, then please contact the school office as a matter of urgency.

Reception Parents

P.E. day for Reception children has now changed to Mondays. Please ensure children have their P.E. kit with them on this day and earrings are removed.

Head Lice

This is a recurring problem among school children.  It is important to check your child’s hair regularly for head lice and treat appropriately.

Congratulations Miss Bishop!

For those of you who are not aware, we are delighted to announce that Miss Bishop gave birth to a healthy baby boy on 26th November 2018 weighing 2.2kg called Lenny. Mum and baby are both doing extremely well!

Vacancy

There is a vacancy in our school kitchen for a catering assistant. The hours of work are 10.30am to 1.30pm each weekday, term time only. This post is being advertised on the Surrey County Council vacancies website under catering assistant – you will need to show an interest in this post and then it will show those schools where the posts are available – Hamsey Green is listed here.
