Corridor Etiquette
We are so proud of all of the classes for showing ‘proud walking’ around the buildings. This is going from strength to strength and has been commented on by many visitors. (Adults are doing a great job too!) The children are courteous, kind and show exquisite manners to their peers and adults. We are so proud of all of the classes. Keep up the hard work!
New KS2 Building – Music Hub
We were so lucky to win the bid for £260,000 worth of funding that has paid for our new ‘Music Hub’ where the children in KS2 will be able to participate in music sessions/lessons. Once some final health and safety checks have been completed, the ‘Music Hub’ will be ready to fully utilise. We are currently investigating and exploring Music lessons as an after-school enrichment for pupils who would like to play an instrument.
BIG Writing Workshop
Thank you to all parents who were able to attend this workshop. The presentation and hand-out is now uploaded to our website for you to refer to. Please go to the Parents section and select the Workshops/Parent Coffee Mornings tab.
Head Pupil Summer Enterprise Project 2019
As you know we have Ambassador Status from Ambition Nation, because of the dedicated work we devote to Enterprise. You will have seen how the children developed products for both the Winter Wonderland and Summer Sounds Festival, last year. A further brilliant enterprise project is being developed by our studious Head Pupils, carefully supervised by Miss Elstob. Our head pupils are investigating leading a Summer term, playtime, snack shop. So far, they have audited all pupils to find out what healthy snacks they would like; looked at costings, considered allergies and conducted some market research. Sonny has developed some prototypes which he hopes to develop further. Please look out for more information coming soon as this project takes shape. You will receive letters after half-term, from our Head Pupils, informing you of this fantastic initiative and an expected date of launch. We hope you will be able to support this wonderful project as it is implemented.
