Welcome back!
I hope that you all have had a lovely time over the Easter break and that the Easter bunny visited? It was lovely to have such beautiful weather over the bank holiday and great to be able to spend time in the sunshine.
We are thankful to the MAT premises teams, who have painted the walls, skirting and ceilings in the Upper School main entrance and corridors. The children and I are very grateful for their hard work!
The children have come back raring to go and seem to be even more smiley than ever! Lovely to see them so positive and that they are so pleased to be back at school to learn and see their friends.
There is so much going on this term so please make sure you have checked the Summer Term dates on the website.

Exciting News!
We will be welcoming the High Sheriff of Surrey to Hamsey Green on Monday as part of his focus and interests in schools in the County. Mr Glover has been the High Sheriff for the last year and we are really excited that he will be visiting us before he steps down. Click here to find out more about the work of the High Sheriff.
School Dinners
If you would like your child to have a school dinner please be reminded that these must be booked in advance using the online School Money system. The school kitchen cooks the exact number of meals required for each day and is often unable to accommodate last minute requests. If you are having difficulty using the system or if you realise on a particular day that you have not booked a meal for your child, then please contact the school office as a matter of urgency.
The Word of the Week was
Upper School ‘dichotomy’ – division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different
Lower School ‘dispersed’ – distribute/spread over an area
