Remembrance Parade – Sunday 10th November

We are very proud of our Head and Deputy pupils who will be representing Hamsey and laying a wreath at the Remembrance Day Parade in Warlingham at 11am.  We look forward to seeing many of you there.  

 

What is Guided Reading? – Tuesday 12th November

Miss Chatfield will be leading this workshop on Tuesday 12th November from 9am to 10:30am in the school hall.  All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.

 

Friday 15th November

Please be reminded that next Friday is spotty mufti £1 donation to children in need and a bottle for the tombola stall. 

Bottles should be brought to the dining hall before school where a member of staff will be waiting to collect them in safely. Thank you in advance for your donations.

Nasal Flu Vaccinations

All the children have been offered the nasal flu spray at school on Tuesday 19 November.  Please remember to complete the on-line consent form which was sent via e mail before half term.  The deadline for completing the form is Friday 15th November.  If you cannot find the letter please click here for a copy.

 

Cross Country Results

Well done to everyone who participated in the Cross Country this week at Whyteleafe.  As you will see, they all did fantastically!  The next race will be after Christmas (dates to be confirmed).

Year3/4 Girls                  Team 37 points – 2nd Place

Year 3/4 Boys                 Team 39 points – 3rd Place

Year 5/6 Girls                 Individual 7th and 10th Places

Year 5/6 Boys                 Team 83 points – 4th Place

The Sun newspaper – Books for Schools

We have signed up for the Sun newspapers Books for Schools campaign.  Tokens will be available for parents to collect for our school from 23rd November until 18th January.  We would be grateful for your support.  Please pick up a copy of The Sun, or visit their website for further information.  Thank you!
