Adverse Weather Preparation

Please find the link to your local Families publication below. The publication provides local news and information, health and education advice for families. It is a great recourse for you to find out about local clubs, classes and other family related businesses available in the area. The What’s On section is extremely useful, especially during the holidays!

We have noticed that a number of our pupils are wearing children’s smart watches to school. As these have camera and games functions on them, unfortunately they are not appropriate for school and should be left at home. We are happy for children to wear a watch, but should be a plain basic watch and please be aware that we cannot take any responsibility for these.

We have had a few cases of head lice in the school. Please can you check your child’s hair over the weekend. Your local pharmacist can give advice on suitable treatment.
The Words of the Week were

Juniors - ambiguous – not very clear, open to interpretation. Could be one answer or another
Riddle of the Week for pupils (last answer: chase parked cars)
