Book Week (2nd – 6th March)
During this week, children will take part in a range of exciting activities (from quizzes to drama sessions) celebrating the importance of reading and great books and authors.
On World Book Day, Thursday 5th March, children are welcome to dress up as their favourite book character.
At some point during the week, children will be bringing home a voucher to spend in book shops. Miss Chatfield is looking forward to this week; where we can celebrate great books and authors together.
Many thanks for your support with promoting the love and importance of reading. Please see our website for upcoming workshops.
Thursday 5th March – Theatre performance
We would like to invite you to pay a £2 contribution for the theatre performance of The Little Princess. A tale about a little girl who is in Boarding School in London whilst her father is serving with the British Army in India.
Grammar Workshop – Tuesday 10th March (8:45-9:45am)
Mr Brown, our Writing, Speaking and Listening Lead, would like to cordially invite you to a Parents Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar workshop. This workshop will provide you with a whistle-stop tour around the English learning that each year group is required to study; helpful hints and tips for consolidating and extending your children’s learning.
Parents from all year groups are welcome as are any pre-school age children who are with you.
We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
