Road Safety Week
This week we have focussed on being safe outside on the road. Some pupils have had a safety talk from our very own Mrs Shapland, the lollipop lady! Children have been reminded as to why cars should not block driveways, park on double yellow or zig zag lines. We appreciate your cooperation in this too. All children have also been reminded that wearing seatbelts is compulsory by law.
Year 6 WWII Dress Up Day
A letter regarding WWII Dress Up day was sent out before half term. We will be having an evacuee day on Tuesday 26th November and will be visited by the Home Front Bus. We would like to remind the Year 6 children to come to school dressed as evacuees. Please click here to read the letter.
School Fair – Winter Wonderland
Our Winter Wonderland is almost here and help is needed. Please click here for the letter. If you are able to offer any help, please email friends@hamsey.surrey.sch.uk. Thank you!
Cool Milk Scheme
We have noticed that a lot of children are not drinking the milk at school. If you pay for Cool Milk please have a chat with your child to see if they still want their milk at school and if not it may be advisable for you to cancel your order.
Teachers2Parents Email communications
We are now using our new e mail and text messaging communication system Teachers2Parents which is linked to School Money. Several parents have advised us that these e mails may be going into Junk Mail or Spam so please remember to check here for any messages that may have been sent.
The Words of the Week were
